Participate in a course anonymously

You can participate in a course anonymously simply by customizing your individual profile. 

For example, you could set your account profile name to "Anonymous." You can also just use your first name (or a first name that you've always liked and want to use for the course). You can even just use an initial, or a character (&, ., etc.) in that field.

To change your profile name, click on your name at the top of the page, and then on Profile.
