Subscriptions: create a subscription discount coupon (Stripe)
If you have subscribed to our Up-and-Comer Plan, you may wish to create a discount coupon to apply to subscription payments. After you have completed creating the Stripe subscription Price Point, you can create a discount coupon. Here's how:
- Go to your "Manage Courses" page.
- Click on the title of your course.
- In the pop-up menu of course information, click on "Coupons" in the Sales column.
- Click Add Coupon.
- Enter the information about the coupon, and then press Save Coupon.
Code. This is the name of the coupon (one word, combination of letters and/or numbers).
Notes: (Optional) Any notes you'd like to create about the discount coupon.
Discount Amount: A fixed dollar amount or percentage discount to be applied to the payment(s).
Coupon Type: Select "Subscription".
Duration of Discount: Choose from three options: The discount can apply to the first payment only, to all payments made in the number of months specified, or to all payments.
Number available: (Optional) You may leave this field blank, or specify the number of subscription coupons available.
Expires: (Optional) You may leave this field blank, or provide a date that the coupon will expire.
Applicable to Price Point(s): Choose the subscription Price Point to which the discount coupon will be applied.
